The Kluwell Educational Scholarship is a $10,000 scholarship paid over the duration of study at La Trobe University.Kluwell Publications, based in Bendigo, is an Australian Company formed in 1998. Kluwell Publications publish and distribute quality, innovative educational products which have been developed and endorsed by teachers, students and parents. The original directors of Kluwell Publications, Stan Kluzek and Andrew Coldwell, were from regional/rural areas when theywere awarded government studentships to attend teachers college. Students now have to fund themselves to attend university, and regional youth do not have the education opportunities of their urban counterparts. As firstly teachers, then directors of our company, Stan and Andrew felt it was appropriate to assist students who wished tobecome primary school teachers, and who came from rural areas.Says Stan Kluzek: “Kluwell hopes that our scholarships and bursaries will go partially to lessening the financial burdensthat go hand in hand with the cost of regional education, the tyranny of distance and finding suitable accommodation. That is, we hope to increase opportunities for success.”
