Kings University College Bishop John Michael Sherlock Catholic Leadership Award 2025 for Bachelor Established in 2009, Kings University College is a private higher education institution located in the large city of Accra (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants), Greater Accra. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the National Accreditation Board, Ghana (National Accreditation Board, Ghana), Kings University College (KUC) is a coeducational higher education institution. Kings University College (KUC) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study. Eligibility Criteria

  • Must be entering first year of a full-time undergraduate program

  • Open to:

    • High school graduates

    • Mature students

    • Transfer students

  • Must be a member of a parish within the Diocese of London

  • Must demonstrate significant financial need

  • Must meet minimum academic entrance requirements

  • Must provide a pastor’s letter of reference

  • Must include at least one credit in Catholic Studies or Religious Studies with a Catholic theme during the undergraduate program

  • Must remain registered full-time throughout the academic year

  • Must maintain a minimum 70% average to be eligible for renewal

  • Must demonstrate continued involvement in parish/community service

  • Scholarship is renewable at $3,000 for Years 2, 3, and 4 if all criteria are met

  • Cannot be held concurrently with another King’s Entrance or Continuing Scholarship

  • Only one award is offered per cycle

  • Application period: January 1 – June 30, 2025

  • Award may not be granted every year, depending on availability
