King’s College London is offering the King’s Prepare for Postgraduate Scholarships for the 2025/26 academic year. These awards provide £950 towards the King’s Prepare for Postgraduate programme, available to one student from each of the university’s nine faculties.

To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must have applied and received an offer for a postgraduate taught or research program at King’s College London for the 2025/26 academic year. They must also meet all entry requirements, be legally permitted to study in the UK, and submit a one-minute video explaining how the PfP programme will support their academic and professional goals.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries: Open to applicants of all nationalities.

  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: The scholarship is open to students accepted into any postgraduate programme (PGT or PGR) across the following King’s College London faculties:

    • Faculty of Arts & Humanities (A&H)

    • Faculty of Dentistry, Oral & Craniofacial Sciences (DOCS)

    • Faculty of Law (DPSoL)

    • Faculty of Life Sciences & Medicine (LSM)

    • Faculty of Natural, Mathematical & Engineering Sciences (NMES)

    • Faculty of Nursing, Midwifery & Palliative Care (NMPC)

    • Faculty of Social Science & Public Policy (SSPP)

    • Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience (IoPPN)

    • King’s Business School (KBS)

  • Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, applicants must:

    • Have submitted a complete application for a postgraduate taught or research degree at King’s for 2025/26.

    • Hold an offer for the postgraduate program at the time of scholarship application review.

    • Be legally eligible to study in the UK.

    • Meet all entry requirements for their chosen postgraduate program.

    • Submit a one-minute video explaining how the PfP programme will support their academic and professional goals.

Offered Benefits

  • A fee reduction of £950 for the King’s Prepare for Postgraduate programme.

  • Students pay only £1000 for the programme instead of the full cost.

  • Opportunity to gain academic preparation and networking before the official postgraduate program begins.

  • Recipients will provide a written and video testimonial about their experience on the programme.

Application Process

  1. Submit a one-minute video titled “How the Prepare for Postgraduate programme at King’s will support my academic and professional goals” via the official application form.

  2. Ensure the video file name includes: King’s Student Number, full name, degree title, and faculty short name (e.g., 1809876-JohnSmith-Comparative_Literature_MA-AH).

  3. Submit the application by 23:59 BST on Monday, 30 June 2025.

  4. Applicants will be notified of the outcome by 17:00 BST on Monday, 7 July 2025.

  5. Use the same email address in the scholarship form as used in the King’s postgraduate application system.
