Khalifa University International Partial-Scholarships, United Arab Emirates for Bachelor Founded in 2007, Khalifa University is a private higher education institution located in the urban setting of the medium-sized city of Abu Dhabi (population range of 500,000-1,000,000 inhabitants). This institution has also branch campuses in the following location(s): Sharjah. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Ministry of Education, United Arab Emirates, Khalifa University (KUSTAR) is a very small (uniRank enrollment range: 250-499 students) coeducational higher education institution. Khalifa University (KUSTAR) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study. This 12 years old higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations and students' past academic record and grades. The admission rate range is 0-10% making this Emirati higher education organization a most selective institution. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries: Applications are accepted from around the world.
  • Eligible Course or Subjects: The sponsorship will be awarded in the College of Engineering and College of Science.
  • Eligibility Criteria: To be considered for the opportunity, applicants must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher and admit into an Engineering or Science degree program.

Offered Benefits

Khalifa University will provide an award amount according to the cumulative GPA in the following manner:

Scholarship College of Engineering:             

  • International with CGPA >= 3.0:  50% of tuition fees
  • International with CGPA 2.5 – 2.99: 25% of tuition fees
  • International with CGPA 2.0 – 2.49: 10% of tuition fees
  • International with CGPA < 2.0: 0% of tuition fees

Scholarship College of Science:

  • International with CGPA >= 3.0: 75% of tuition fees
  • International with CGPA 2.5 – 2.99: 50% of tuition fees
  • International with CGPA 2.0 – 2.49: 25% of tuition fees
  • International with CGPA < 2.0: 0% of tuition fees

Application Process

  • How to Apply: To apply for the grant, applicants are advised to take admission in the bachelor’s degree program at the university. After taking admission, you can apply for the award.
  • Supporting Documents: Must attach your high school certificate, a letter from the school stating predicted grades is required, good conduct certificate, passport and passport size photograph
  • Admission Requirements: Applicants must hold a high school degree with an excellent GPA.
  • Language Requirement: For taking admission, students have to provide the standardized scores of TOEFL or IELTS.
