Kesmonds International University Scholarships for Worldwide Students

Eligibility Criteria

• Eligible Countries: All nationalities are eligible.
• Acceptable Course or Subjects: The scholarship will be awarded for any field of Certificate, Bachelor, Master, or Doctorate Programs
• Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following criteria:
• Excellent students, disabled students, and less privileged students are eligible
• Students aspiring to join the KIU research team, either with a partner university or directly with KIU, are eligible.

Offered Benefits

Scholarships range from tuition scholarships, research scholarships, exchange program scholarships, study abroad opportunities, seminars and conferences, and professional training scholarships.

KIU offers more than 500 scholarships annually, applying the criteria below:

University Senate Scholarship:

• The university senate provides an annual budget for scholarships, research, and internships to students and aspiring students.
• The scholarship budget per student ranges from $1000 to $10,000 depending on the student’s status provided by the department concerned.
• Annually there is an unlimited number of scholarship seats
• This scholarship package is designed for less privileged and deserving students.
• This scholarship package may include travel abroad programs, research grants, internships, and exchange programs.

President’s Scholarship:

• KIU provides a limited number of work-study scholarships to the following category of students – need-based for underprivileged students, talent-based for athletes and artists, and disability-based for those with special needs.
• This scholarship may cover a portion or all of the student’s tuition. Still, each is unique, and the terms are provided in the award letter.
• KIU provides professional training scholarships at home and abroad with highly recognized organizations.
• The office of the University President offers up to 80% of Scholarships to less privileged, deserving students. Seasonal tuition reductions to applicants from specific countries and partner universities, institutions, and organizations.
• This scholarship decision is exclusive to the University’s president’s approval

Rector/VC Scholarships:

• The office of the Rector/VC provides up to 75% tuition scholarships to all applicants, who must earn at least an average of 15/20 at the High School or Diploma level or a GPA of at least 3.20 on a scale of 4.00 and above at the undergraduate level.

Director’s Scholarships:

• The Students Affairs Director’s office provides 60 to 70% tuition scholarships to all applicants, who must earn an average of 13/20 at the High School or Diploma level or a GPA of at least 3.00 on a scale of 4.00 at the undergraduate level.

Registrar’s Scholarship:

• The registrar’s office provides 40 to 60% tuition scholarships to all applicants, who must earn an average of 13/20 at the High School or Diploma level or a GPA of at least 2.50 to 2.90 on a scale of 4.00 at the undergraduate level.

Corporate Scholarships:

• These scholarships are provided by corporate bodies (companies, institutions, NGOs, etc.) either to their employees or other deserving students.
• This scholarship package may include travel abroad programs, research grants, internships, and exchange programs.

Application Process

The scholarships are not automatic, so students must apply for them between January-February, May-June, and September-October each year to be eligible.

• Step One: Apply for a program of your choice by contacting admissions [at] kesmonds-edu.ac. Applicants will be issued an admission acceptance and scholarship letter before payment of the registration fee. Also, click on admission requirements for the registration guide.

• Step Two: Submit an admission acceptance letter to apply for a scholarship with two references and letters emailed to scholarships [at] kesmonds-edu.ac.
• Step Three: Scholarship is granted following KIU scholarship policy found on the link  Scholarships.
• Supporting Documents: Applicants must submit the following documents to admissions [at] kesmonds-edu.ac, for scholarships email scholarships [at] kesmonds-edu.ac:
• The applicant wrote a signed motivation letter
• Scanned copy of undergraduate transcripts and attestation or certificate (for master study)
• Scanned copy of secondary and high school certificates (for undergraduate study)
• Scanned copy of international passport or national ID card
• Copy of CV (uploaded in pdf or doc format)
• Two reference letters were mailed directly to the school ( )
• Scanned passport photograph (4×4) on a white background
• Also, the given documents provide for doctoral study:
• Copy of CV (uploaded in pdf or doc format).
• Scanned copy of undergraduate and graduate transcripts and attestation or certificate
• A published article reference (DIO)
• Attestation of service showing proof of at least 12 months of experience in the required or related field.
• Admission Requirements: Before starting an application, applicants must meet the course requirements: Undergraduate, Master, Doctoral
• Language Requirement: English language skills are required to study at KIU.
