Admissible Criteria: Applicants must be meeting the following requirements:
- Applicants must be between the ages of 15-17 by the start of program (August 1, 2020).
- Students must be enrolled as a Form 2 student in a secondary school in the region currently being recruited at the time of application.
- Short listed students must pass their Form 2 National Exams and hold either position one (1) or two (2) in their class. (The greatest emphasis on the pass mark is on English and Mathematics, which should be at least 60%).
- Holders must present academic transcripts from Form 1 through the first term of Form 3 (all academic transcripts must have the Headmaster's signature and the school stamp).
- Applicants must have the equivalent of a B average or better without failing grades.
- Students have to meet U.S. J-1 visa eligibility requirements (for instance, U.S. citizens are not eligible for J-1 visa).
- Candidates must be a citizen of Tanzania.
