The KEMRI-Wellcome Trust is excited to announce PhD Studentships commencing in October 2024. These studentships provide a unique opportunity for Master’s graduates to engage in high-caliber scientific research, supported by renowned supervisory teams and affiliation with the Open University in the UK.
To be eligible for studentships, applicants must have completed a master’s degree and must not be registered for a PhD program elsewhere. They should have scored a B+ or above in their Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KSCE) and achieved at least an upper second class degree or its equivalent in their undergraduate studies.The KEMRI-Wellcome Trust Research Programme is a leading health research organization based in Kenya, committed to improving health and well-being in Africa through high-quality research and capacity building. Established as a partnership between the Kenya Medical Research Institute (KEMRI) and the Wellcome Trust, it operates with a focus on infectious diseases, epidemiology, and public health.
