La Trobe University invites eligible undergraduate students to apply for the Joss Family Fellowship for Future Researchers. This exciting opportunity offers selected students a $1500 award, paid in two instalments, to participate in a six-week supervised research project. The fellowship provides hands-on experience across diverse disciplines including ecology, history, psychology, environmental science, biomedical science, and more.

To be eligible for the Joss Family Fellowship for Future Researchers, applicants must be undergraduate students at La Trobe University with at least 180 credit points completed. The fellowship is open to 2nd and 3rd year students from all nationalities, including Australian citizens, permanent residents, humanitarian visa holders, New Zealand citizens, and international students. Preference is given to students based at the Albury-Wodonga campus, and honours students are not eligible to apply.

  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: The fellowship will be awarded in any subject offered under the listed projects, including Ecology Conservation, Biology, Australian History, Military History, Gender History, History of Religion, Psychology, Environmental Science, Microbiology, Biomedical Science, Environment and Genetics.
  • Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following criteria:
  • Be an undergraduate student at La Trobe University with a minimum of 180 credit points.
  • Preference will be given to students based at the Albury-Wodonga campus.
  • Honours students are not eligible.
