The European Commission will provide scholarships to the best applicants by academic ability.Two scholarship packages are available depending on student background: Category A is open to students who are not nationals of an EU country, Iceland, Norway or Liechtenstein.In addition, scholarship holders cannot be residents of these countries nor have carried out their main activity (studies, training or work) for more than a total of 12 months over the last five years in any of these countries.
Category B is available to all applicants that do not meet the criteria for Category A.

Offered Benefits
In line with Erasmus Plus rules, a maximum of two students with the same nationality can receive a scholarship.

*2,000 EUR per year for travel costs + 1.000 EUR for installation costs for scholarship holder resident of a partner country whose location is situated at less than 4,000 km from the Joint Master Degree coordinating Higher Education Insitution (i.e. SAMS UHI).
3.000 EUR per year for travel costs + 1.000 EUR for installation costs for scholarship holder resident of a partner country whose location is situated at 4,000 km or more from the Joint Master Degree coordinating Higher Education Institution (i.e. SAMS UHI).
**1.000 EUR per month for the duration of the Joint Master Degree study programme (24 months maximum). Contribution to subsistence costs will not be given to the scholarship holders for the Joint Masters Degree (study/research/placement/thesis preparation) periods spent in their country of residence.
Please note: There is no separate application process for Erasmus Plus scholarships, but the application to the ACES course must have been submitted by the application deadlines.
