Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries: United States
  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: The scholarship will be awarded to students pursuing a degree in Food Safety & Quality.
  • Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, applicants must meet the following criteria:
    • Be a new student at Lakeland University, beginning in fall 2023.
    • Be enrolled in the William R. Kellett School.
    • Pursue a degree in Food Safety & Quality.
    • Demonstrate academic achievement through one of the following:
      • Quantitative and Scientific Proficiency:
        • Earned a grade of ‘B’ or better in college/advanced algebra.
        • Earned a grade of ‘B’ or better in any AP-level or college biology, chemistry, or physics course.
      • Quantitative Proficiency Only:
        • Earned a grade of ‘B’ or better in any AP-level or college pre-calculus or calculus course.

Applicants must gain full admission and register for the Food Safety & Quality program at Lakeland University to be eligible for the scholarship.
