The Ulster University is welcoming enthusiastic individuals to become a part of the John J. Sweeney program for the academic year 2020.
This scholarship is generously supported by funds raised by the AFL-CIO, the American Labor community, business and civic organizations, and individuals. The purpose of this program is to support US students undertaking a full-time MSc or MA at Ulster University.

Established in 1968, Ulster University is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the medium-sized town of Coleraine (population range of 10,000-49,999 inhabitants), Northern Ireland. This institution has also branch campuses in the following location(s): Belfast, Jordanstown, Derry. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Privy Council, Ulster University is a large (uniRank enrollment range: 25,000-29,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. The John J Sweeney Scholarship has a value of $20,000 and that is used towards the Scholar’s tuition fees for an MA or MSc at Ulster University.
