John Barnard Postgraduate International Scholarship at University of Leeds in UK, 2021 for Master Founded in 1904, University of Leeds is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the medium-sized city of Leeds (population range of 500,000-1,000,000 inhabitants), Yorkshire and the Humber. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Privy Council, University of Leeds is a very large (uniRank enrollment range: 30,000-34,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. University of Leeds offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. This 115 years old higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on students' past academic record and grades. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries: All nationalities.
  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: Postgraduate degree coursework in the School of English.
  • Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, applicants must have to meet the following eligibility criteria:
  • Students with the equivalent of at least a UK 2.1 Bachelors degree in English or a closely related subject.
  • Must have made an application to the School for an academic place prior to submitting their application.
  • Selection will be based on academic merit.

Offered Benefits

The University of Leeds will provide the following benefits:

  • A scholarship of up to £14,500 (full tuition fee paid at UK rate + £5000 maintenance).
  • For international students, £14,500 to be deducted from the tuition fee if on the Creative Writing programme.
  • For all other programmes, £14,000.

  • How to Apply: To be considered for the opportunity , students must take admission in a postgraduate degree programme at the University of Leeds. After that, candidates must download, complete, and return the application form to pgtenglish-at-leeds.ac.uk.
  • Supporting Documents: Must provide degree certificates, academic transcripts, and CV with your application.
  • Admission Requirements: For taking admission, students must have to check the entry requirements of their chosen program.
