Applications are now open for the IVADO Postdoctoral Research Funding Program 2026, offering outstanding national and international researchers the opportunity to contribute to the R³AI initiative – Robust, Reasoning, and Responsible Artificial Intelligence. Successful candidates will receive $100,000 per year for two years, including salary and research funds, to pursue cutting-edge AI research at one of IVADO’s partner universities in Québec.
To be eligible for the IVADO Postdoctoral Research Funding Program, applicants must hold or expect to complete a PhD within three years of the program’s start and enroll in a postdoctoral program at HEC Montréal, McGill University, Polytechnique Montréal, Université de Montréal, or Université Laval. Candidates must reside in Québec during the fellowship, maintain postdoctoral status for the full two-year duration, and have a qualified supervisor who is a regular faculty member at one of the partner universities.
