The University of Birmingham is accepting applications for Ironbridge Institute John Pagett Bursary from outstanding candidates who wish to conduct a doctoral-level study in the UK.

This educational award is open for both domestic and international students who are going to study a doctoral or postgraduate research degree program at the university for the session 2020/21.

Ironbridge Institute John Pagett Bursary for International Students in UK Founded in 1900, University of Birmingham is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the large city of Birmingham (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants), West Midlands. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Privy Council, University of Birmingham is a very large (uniRank enrollment range: 30,000-34,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. University of Birmingham offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study. Application Process

  • How to Apply: Interested applicants are suggested to enroll in a postgraduate research degree program at the university. After that, they will be eligible to complete the online application form for the award.
  • Supporting Documents: To apply, candidates must be ready to submit the previous transcripts at the university.
  • Admission Requirements: For taking admission in a PhD program, applicants must have a master degree from a recognized university.
  • Language Requirement: Applicants whose first language is not English must also satisfy our minimum language requirements (of 7 IELTS with no less than 6.5 in any component).
