Invitation to Idaho funding for International Students at University of Idaho, USA for Bachelor


Invitation to Idaho award is available to encourage all prospective students from around the world to earn a high-quality education at the University of Idaho.

This funding program is offered to those students who are wishing to pursue an undergraduate degree in fall 2020 at the university. The scheme is renewable up to four years of undergraduate enrollment.

Invitation to Idaho funding for International Students at University of Idaho, USA for Bachelor Founded in 1889, University of Idaho is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the rural setting of the medium-sized town of Moscow (population range of 10,000-49,999 inhabitants), Idaho. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities, University of Idaho (UI) is a large (uniRank enrollment range: 10,000-14,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. University of Idaho (UI) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation degrees), bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. This 130 years old higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations and students' past academic record and grades. The admission rate range is 60-70% making this US higher education organization a somewhat selective institution. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries: All nationalities.
  • Eligible Course or Subjects: Undergraduate degree program in business, accounting, finance, art, science, engineering, etc.
  • Eligibility Criteria: If you want to take advantage of the program, then make sure you fulfil the following requirements:
  • A new, first-time freshman admitted to the University of Idaho
  • Pursuing your first bachelor’s degree
  • Have an incoming GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • A resident of a non-WUE state or an international student.

Offered Benefits

All the eligible candidates will receive the award amount of $15,084 for the academic year 2020-21. This is renewable up to four years of undergraduate enrollment.

Application Process

  • How to Apply: Students who have enrolled in an undergraduate program at the university will automatically be eligible to apply for this Idaho Scholarship.
  • Supporting Documents: Candidates might be asked to send the following documents at the time of admission: Pre-qualification degree, copies of academic transcripts, certificates of English language proficiency, a statement, and a copy of passport.
  • Admission Requirements: To be enrolled in an undergraduate degree program, you must have a high school diploma.
  • Language Requirement: Students for whom English is not their primary language are required to demonstrate sufficient ability in this language by providing one of the following:
  • Completion of the University of Idaho American Language and Culture Program (ALCP).
  • SAT evidence-based reading and writing a minimum score of 550
  • TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) minimum score of 70.
  • IELTS (International English Language Testing System) minimum score of 6.0.
  • Duolingo English Test minimum score of 100 for our Summer 2020, Fall 2020, and Spring 2021 applicants.
