Invitation to Idaho funding for International Students at University of Idaho for Bachelor Founded in 1889, University of Idaho is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the rural setting of the medium-sized town of Moscow (population range of 10,000-49,999 inhabitants), Idaho. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities, University of Idaho (UI) is a large (uniRank enrollment range: 10,000-14,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. University of Idaho (UI) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation degrees), bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. This 130 years old higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations and students' past academic record and grades. The admission rate range is 60-70% making this US higher education organization a somewhat selective institution. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Be a first-year international applicant to University of Idaho.
  • Attend (or have graduated from) a secondary school outside of the United States.
  • Demonstrate interest and personal initiative in activities involving intercultural learning and exchange.
  • Complete a scholarship application and a 500-1000 word essay or a two-to-five minute video describing their aspirations to conduct projects, research, employment, or other experiences that will advance intercultural learning.
