BIMM University has partnered with Into Games to offer the Future Talent Scholarship for students applying to Creative Technology undergraduate courses at Screen and Film School Brighton. This scholarship aims to support individuals from underrepresented backgrounds and low-income households, providing full tuition fees to a deserving candidate who demonstrates talent, creativity, and a passion for the games industry.

Eligible applicants must be UK nationals with home fee status, starting an eligible undergraduate course (BA (Hons) Games Design & Development or BA (Hons) Games Art & Technology) at Screen and Film School Brighton in September 2024. Applicants must come from low-income households or underrepresented groups in higher education, such as students from global majority backgrounds, care-experienced or estranged students, mature students, LGBTQI+ students, or disabled students.BIMM University is a private university in the UK that specializes in music, film, performing arts, and creative technology. It was founded in 2001 as the Brighton Institute of Modern Music and was granted university status in 2022. BIMM University has around 8,300 students across eight city-based campuses in the UK, Ireland, and Germany. It offers a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses through its four academic schools: BIMM Music Institute, Institute for Contemporary Theatre, Screen and Film School, and Performers College.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries: United Kingdom
  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: The scholarship will be awarded in any subject offered by the university, specifically:
    • BA (Hons) Games Design & Development
    • BA (Hons) Games Art & Technology
  • Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following criteria:
    • Applying for an eligible undergraduate degree at Screen and Film School Brighton, starting in September 2024.
    • UK national with home fee status.
    • From a low-income household and/or an underrepresented group in higher education. This includes:
      • Students from a global majority background.
      • Students who have experience in care or are estranged.
      • Mature students.
      • Students who identify as part of the LGBTQI+ community or are from a gender-diverse background.
      • Disabled students.

Offered Benefits

Applicable to eligible students beginning their course in September 2024, the Into Games Future Talent Scholarship will provide full tuition fees for a candidate from an underrepresented background and/or low household income. We are seeking a candidate who demonstrates talent, a strong creative vision, and a passion for working in games.

Application Deadline

Applications for the Into Games Future Talent Scholarship close on 12th July 2024. Scholarships will only be awarded to those who go on to accept an offer from Screen and Film School Brighton and complete the enrollment process.
