Requirements for IYMC Mathematics Competition
The competition is open to all high school and university students.
Selection Process
The IYMC 2024 takes place in three rounds:
1. Qualification Round
- Solve five math problems.
- To qualify for the pre-final round, you need to solve at least three problems correctly (under 18) or four problems (over 18).
- Submit your solutions online by 15th December 2024.
- All participants receive certificates.
2. Pre-Final Round
- Successful participants can register in November.
- Solve eight problems of three types: 3 basic problems, 3 advanced problems, and 2 special creativity problems.
- You have one week to complete this round.
3. Final Round
- Successful finalists will participate in a 20-minute online exam supervised by a supervisor.
- Winners receive certificates and cash prizes worth over $700.
