This scholarship is available to undergraduate international students enrolled full-time in an Authorized Program who are experiencing temporary and unanticipated financial difficulties. The best preference may be given to Malaysian international students.The University of Queensland (UQ) is an Australian public research institution based in Brisbane.   • Acceptable Course or Subjects: Any undergraduate program offered by the university
  • Admissible Criteria: Applicants must meet the following Admissible criteria:
  • Full-time enrollment in an Approved Program
  • International student status
  • Demonstrated temporary and unexpected financial hardship
  • Not receiving assistance from the Financial Hardship Assistance Scheme for the year of the award
  • Not awarded another scholarship, bursary, or grant that the Chair considers similar

Offered Benefits

The University of Queensland will provide a limited to annual income from the fund for the academic session 2023/2024.

Application Process

  • How to apply: To apply for the award, aspirants need to take  admissions at the university. Submit an application for the scholarship to the Director, of Student Affairs, by the closing date for applications.
  • Supporting Documents: Applicants must provide a copy of the following documents:
  • a copy of your curriculum vitae
  • Academic transcripts
  • 2 letters of recommendation.
  • Admission Requirements: Student must fulfill the following admissible requirements:
  • Must be accepted into an Approved Program at The University of Queensland
  • Candidates must meet the university’s prerequisites for their undergraduate degree field
  • Language Requirement: Applicants must fulfill the given language requirements:
  • According to the university guidelines, applicants must present evidence of English language ability.
