International Student Scholarships at Hope College, USA Founded in 1925, New Hope Christian College is a non-profit private higher education institution located in the urban setting of the large town of Eugene (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Oregon. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Association for Biblical Higher Education, Commission on Accreditation, New Hope Christian College (NHCC) is a very small (uniRank enrollment range: under-250 students) coeducational higher education institution formally affiliated with the Christian-Pentecostal religion. New Hope Christian College (NHCC) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation degrees), bachelor degrees in several areas of study. This 94 years old higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations and students' past academic record and grades. The admission rate range is 60-70% making this US higher education organization a somewhat selective institution. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment.

Offered Benefits

Hope College will provide up to $25,000. The award is renewable for four years as long as the student remains in good academic standing.

Application Process

  • How to Apply: To get enrol in the programme, students are required to take admission in the undergraduate degree programme at the college. Eligible candidates will be automatically considered.
  • Supporting Documents: Applicants must provide certified copies of qualifications, a transcript of results, and copies of any other documentation.
  • Admission Requirements: For taking admission, applicants must have a previous year’s degree certificate with outstanding academic achievement.
  • Language Requirement: International students must demonstrate their English proficiency through one of the following:
  • TOEFL: Minimum score of 79 with no sub-score less than 18.
  • IELTS: Minimum score of 6.5 with no sub-score less than 6.
  • Duolingo: Minimum score of 100.
  • GTEC: Minimum score of 1200.
  • Pearson PTE Academic: Minimum score of 58 with no band below 53.
  • Attendance for two or more years at a secondary school where the curriculum is taught in English. We still may require the TOEFL or IELTS depending on your record.
