International Sports Journalism Scholarship in Germany, 2020 for Bachelor Established in 2006, Hochschule Macromedia (Macromedia University of Applied Sciences) is a private higher education institution located in the urban setting of the large city of München (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants), Bavaria. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Bayerisches Staatsministerium für Wissenschaft und Kunst (Bavarian State Ministry for Science and Art), Hochschule Macromedia (MHMK) is a small (uniRank enrollment range: 2,000-2,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. Hochschule Macromedia (MHMK) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees in several areas of study. The admission rate range is 90-100% making this German higher education organization a least selective institution. International applicants are eligible to apply for enrollment.

Application Process

  • How to Apply: To be considered for the opportunity, candidates must take admission in the bachelor’s degree coursework at the Macromedia University of Applied Sciences. After that, candidates must submit a scholarship application form before the deadline.
  • Supporting Documents: Candidates are requested to upload all the following supporting documents:
  • A self-written work sample such as a sports commentary or game report (print, audio or moving image; the article can, but does not have to be published)
  • A text and / or concept for the future of sports journalism
  • Letter of motivation (one page)
  • Tabular CV
  • Proof of internship (if available)
  • Abitur or university entrance qualification (certified copy)
  • Admission Requirements: For taking admission, applicants must check the admission requirements of the program.
  • Language Requirement: Students must have TOEFL iBT (at least 72 out of 120) or IELTS (at least 6.0 out of 9) or equivalent qualifications.

Benefits: The Macromedia University of Applied Sciences will provide the training expenses to the winning candidates.
