International Scholarships for South East Asia & Taiwan Students in UK for Master


Students from South East Asia and Taiwan have a chance to study in the UK with financial support from Bangor University’s International Scholarship. This £5,000 award is available for self-funding or partially funded students enrolling in a full-time Master’s program starting in September 2024 or January 2025.

Applicants must be from eligible countries and should be self-funding or partially funded, as those fully sponsored by a third party are not eligible for this scholarship. International Scholarships for South East Asia & Taiwan Students in UK for Master Established in 1884, Bangor University is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the medium-sized town of Bangor (population range of 10,000-49,999 inhabitants), Wales. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Privy Council, Bangor University is a large (uniRank enrollment range: 10,000-14,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. Bangor University offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation degrees), bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study.   • Eligible Countries: Brunei, Myanmar, Cambodia, Timor-Leste, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam
  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: The scholarship will be awarded for any subject offered by Bangor University.
  • Admissible Criteria:
    • Applicants must be self-funding or partially funded. Candidates who are fully sponsored by a third party will not be entitled to this Scholarship.
    • Only open to students paying International Tuition Fee Levels.

Offered Benefits

A scholarship worth £5,000 will be provided to help partially fund your studies at Bangor University.

Conditions

  • The scholarship is valid only for courses starting in September 2024 or January 2025 and cannot be deferred.
  • This scholarship cannot be combined with any other Bangor University Scholarship, except for the Alumni Discount.

Application Process

No separate scholarship application is required. All international applicants from eligible countries will automatically be awarded this scholarship when they submit their application to study at Bangor University through the application portal or UCAS. The scholarship will be confirmed in the Offer Letter.
