International Scholarships at Marymount University, USA for Bachelor Founded in 1950, Marymount University is a non-profit private higher education institution located in the urban setting of the large town of Arlington (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Virginia. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges, Marymount University is a small (uniRank enrollment range: 4,000-4,999 students) coeducational higher education institution formally affiliated with the Christian-Catholic religion. Marymount University offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation degrees), bachelor degrees, master degrees in several areas of study. This 69 years old higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations and students' past academic record and grades. The admission rate range is 80-90% making this US higher education organization a least selective institution. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment.

  • Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following/given criteria:
  • The applicants must be full-time undergraduate or graduate students at Marymount.
  • Transfer, freshman, and graduate students can all apply.

Offered Benefits

The students that will successfully land a scholarship, assistantship, or win an award will be provided a sum of money, approximately $2,000 to $16,000 towards their program fee at Marymount.

Application Process

  • How to Apply: Graduate applications must be submitted via the graduate application portal of the university while the undergraduate application can be made via the university portal or via the common application portal. All international applicants are automatically considered.
  • Supporting Documents: The students are required to present the following documents to the university:
  • Certified, official transcripts
  • Official High School Transcripts and translations in English
  • Letter of recommendation
  • Resume
  • Personal statement
  • Admission Requirements: The students are required to have attained high GPAs in their previous education. Minimum 2.75 + is expected.
  • Language Requirement: The students must submit scores of the following English language proficiency tests:
  • TOEFL IBT – 79 to 100
  • TOEFL PBT – 600
  • IELTS – 6.0 to 6.5
  • Duolingo – 100 to 105 or 105 to 110
