Applicants are invited to become a part of the International Qi Anlong Scholarship in Computer Science for the academic year 2020-2021. The grant is available for both domestic and international students.

The program encourages outstanding students who want to commence undergraduate and honours level study in Computer Science for full-time at the University of Auckland.

International Qi Anlong Scholarship in Computer Science at University of Auckland, 2020 Founded in 1883, University of Auckland is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the large city of Auckland (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants). Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Ministry for Tertiary Education, Skills and Employment, New Zealand, University of Auckland is a very large (uniRank enrollment range: 40,000-44,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. University of Auckland offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries: Applications are accepted from around the world.
  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: The studentships are awarded to pursue Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Science conjoint degree, Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree or a Bachelor of Advanced Sciences (Honours) in the Faculty of Science in Computer Science, intending to specialise in Artificial Intelligence.
  • Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, applicants must have to meet the following criteria:
  • Must have a previous year degree.
  • Required to maintain a GPA of at least 6.00 (equivalent to a B+ average) in each semester of study.

Offered Benefits

The support will be awarded annually, for a period of one year, and will be of the value of up to $8,000.

  • Admission Requirements: For being admitted, you need to meet the admission requirements for each qualification you plan to study.
  • Language Requirement:  Candidates from outside the home country will often need to meet specific English language requirements in order to be able to study at the university.
