  • Eligible Countries:  All international and domestic students can apply.
  • Eligible Course or Subjects:  Students can apply for a Master by Research study program within the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Sydney.
  • Eligibility Criteria:  To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following/given criteria:
  • The applicants must have an unconditional offer of admission or being currently enrolled to study full-time. 

Offered Benefits

The University of Sydney will award the selected candidates a scholarship award amount in the form of a stipend allowance of $35,950 per annum for up to 1 year. 

Application Process

  • How to Apply:  The students interested to apply for the scholarship are first required to apply for admission via the  university portal . Then, they must submit a separate  scholarship application form  to be considered. 
  • Supporting Documents: The students are required to present the following documents to the university:
  • English language results
  • Academic transcripts
  • Degree certificates (testamurs)
  • Scholarship documentation
  • Marriage/change of name certificate
  • Admission Requirements:  The applicants must hold an Honours degree (First Class) or equivalent in a related field such as civil engineering, sociology, or geography.  
  • Language Requirement:  The students must submit scores of the following English language proficiency tests:
  • IELTS – 6.5
