Exciting postdoctoral opportunity at the VIB Center for Inflammation Research! The Sophie Janssens lab at Ghent University is seeking a talented postdoctoral researcher to apply for International Postdoctoral Position on IRE1 Biology in Dendritic Cells. Ideal candidates will have a background in cell biology and biochemistry, with a strong interest in immunology. This one-year position offers rich training opportunities and the possibility of securing future fellowships.
Applicants must hold a PhD in biochemistry, biotechnology, biomedical sciences, cell biology, bio-engineering, or a related discipline. They should have strong expertise in biochemistry and molecular biology, with additional skills in imaging being advantageous. A keen interest in immunology and dendritic cell biology, along with experience in working with mouse models (FELASA C certification), is required. All students from overseas are encouraged to apply for the positions.The VIB Center for Inflammation Research, affiliated with Ghent University, focuses on understanding the mechanisms underlying inflammation and its role in various diseases.
