Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries: All nationalities are eligible to apply for this scholarship.
  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: The program is available for Postdoctoral degree study in the following subject areas: You will conduct Innovative Research: related to modelling, transducers, 3D printing, soft robotics, and mechatronics, pushing the boundaries of knowledge in these domains. Collaborate with leading researchers and institutions across Europe, gaining valuable experience in an international research environment.
  • Admissible Criteria: To be eligible for a Holland Scholarship, you should meet all the given requirements.
  • A strong academic background with a PhD degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field such as robotics, mechatronics, mechanical engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Proficiency in CAD design software, such as Solidworks, for mechanical design and simulation.
  • Experience in kinematics and dynamics analysis for robotic systems.
  • Expertise in electronics integration, including sensor selection and circuit design.
  • Strong programming skills with knowledge of robotic middleware, such as ROS.
  • Familiarity with rapid prototyping techniques, including 3D printing.Expertise in control theory, including control algorithm design, modelling, and implementation.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C/C++, and experience with robotic middleware (e.g., ROS).
  • Experience with hardware-software integration in robotics.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to conduct independent research.
  • Previous experience with medical robotics applications and familiarity with surgical procedures and environments is a plus.

  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • An eagerness to collaborate and work in a multidisciplinary team.

  • A fulltime postdoc position for 24 months as an employee at the UT, including pension and health care benefits
