The Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU), Department of Forest Resource Management, invites applications for a International Postdoctoral Position in Remote Sensing. The project focuses on understanding how tree architecture influences forest resilience under climate change by integrating 3D remote sensing data (LiDAR, UAV photogrammetry) with ecological theory.
Eligibility for the postdoctoral position requires applicants to hold a PhD (awarded within the last three years) in remote sensing, forestry, ecology, agriculture, computer sciences, or related fields. Candidates must have strong skills in scientific programming and 3D remote sensing data analysis, along with proficiency in English.
