Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries: All nationalities.
  • Eligible Course or Subjects: PhD degree in (SFI CONNECT – QoE enabled Scheduling for Scalable and Dependable Video Delivery in Vehicular Networks) offered by the university.
  • Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following criteria:
  • Applicants may be of any nationality.
  • Applicants should hold a good honours undergraduate or master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, telecommunications, or other relevant research areas. Ideally, applicants will be able to demonstrate an interest in both the analytical and practical aspects of networked system design. Applicants must have a solid foundation in programming and show a degree of independence in problem-solving.

Offered Benefits

The successful applicant will receive a stipend of €18,500 per annum (tax-free) for up to four years and the award includes a dedicated travel budget at the University College Cork.
