Cranfield University is delighted to announce the International PhD Scholarships in Organising for Sustainability and Resilience for the academic year 2022/2023.

This is a three-year partially funded scholarship available to highly motivated UK/EU and international students who are going to apply for full-time PhD courses at the univeristy. This PhD project is supported by Cranfield School of Management (Cranfield University) and will be supervised by academics with expertise in resilience and sustainability.

International PhD Scholarships in Organising for Sustainability and Resilience, UK Established in 1993, Cranfield University is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the rural setting of the small town of Cranfield (population range of 2,500-9,999 inhabitants), East of England.   • Eligible Countries: Applicants from the UK, EU countries, and other remaining foreign countries are eligible to apply.
  • Eligible Course or Subjects: Students can apply for a PhD degree study in Organising for Sustainability and Resilience
  • Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following/given criteria:
  • The applicants must have good communication skills.
  • PhD applicants are required to hold a first or upper second class UK Bachelor’s degree, a taught Master’s degree, or an equivalent international qualification, in a related discipline.

Offered Benefits

This scholarship programme will provide a bursary of up to £7,920 (tax-free) plus 50% of tuition fees per annum and a research allowance of £1,000 in total for the whole duration (three years) of this PhD.

  • Supporting Documents: The students are required to present the following documents to the university:

  • Work experience
  • Admission Requirements: The applicants must have a first or upper-second-class UK Honours degree or equivalent in a related discipline, such as Chemical/Process Engineering or Mechanical/Renewable/Industrial Engineering.
  • Language Requirement: The students must submit scores of the following English language proficiency tests:
