  • Supporting Documents:  The students are required to present the following documents to the university:
  • A letter motivating the application (cover letter)
  • Curriculum vitae
  • Grade transcripts and BSc and MSc diploma
  • Excel sheet with translation of grades to the Danish grading system (see guidelines and Excel spreadsheet here)
  • Summary of your master’s thesis project and personal experience in the project (max. 1 page)
  • Admission Requirements:  The applicants must have an MSc degree in biochemistry, molecular microbiology, engineering, or medicine. 
  • Language Requirement:  The applicants must have a high-level English proficiency, both written and spoken. 

Offered Benefits

The PhD scholarship winner will be provided employment for three years by the University of Copenhagen with an allowance which will be agreed upon with the relevant union.
