Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries: Australian national students and applicants from other foreign are eligible to apply.
  • Eligible Course or Subjects: PhD research in Dairy Science (Carbon-neutral dairy production systems)
  • Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following/given criteria:
  • Be a domestic or international student
  • Have an unconditional offer of admission or be enrolled in a full-time  PhD at the Faculty of Science
  • Be willing to research into the balance of greenhouse gases of dairy production, using a combination of methodologies including modelling and field studies
  • Hold an honours degree (first-class or second class upper) or a master’s degree in a related field with a substantial research component
  • Have a background in veterinary or animal sciences; dairy production in intensified systems (TMR)

Offered Benefits

The University of Sydney will provide an annual stipend allowance of $40,000 per annum for up to three years.
