The main motive of the bursary is to provide financial support for international students who want to undertake a PhD degree programme at the university.

The University of Queensland will offer $28,092 per annum (2020 rate), indexed annually to domestic and international students. A top-up of $5,000 per annum for up to 3.5 years is also available.
