The University of Twente is offering International PhD Positions in Thermoplastic Composite T-Joint Welding Process Simulations.

The scholarship program is particularly open to domestic and international students who wish to undertake the PhD degree program at the university. The aim is to develop process simulation tools that establish a relationship between process parameters and T-joint performance.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries: Open to all nationalities
  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: The scholarship will be awarded in any subject offered by the university.
  • Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, applicants must meet the following criteria:
  • Hold a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Possess experimental and theoretical skills in polymers and fiber reinforced composites.
  • Have experience with the finite element method and programming experience in scripting languages like Python or Matlab.
  • Proficiency in English, both spoken and written (TOEFL > 90 or IELTS > 6.5 score).\
