The Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at the University of Southern Denmark, Odense, is delighted to offer International PhD Positions in Programming Languages. This scholarship opportunity is part of the ERC Consolidator Project “Choreographies for Distributed Systems: Reasoning, Expressivity, and Development (CHORDS).

Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries: Open to all nationalities
  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: The scholarship will be awarded in any subject offered by the university
  • Admissible Criteria: Applicants must meet all the following criteria:
    • Hold an MSc degree in Computer Science or related field
    • Have experience in at least one of the following areas: Theory of programming languages, Compilers, Concurrent and distributed systems, Logical methods in computer science, Interactive theorem provers
    • Fluency in English is required.

Offered Benefits

Successful candidates will receive a competitive salary and be enrolled in the PhD study program at the Faculty of Science. The appointment is for a duration of 3 years, during which the holder of the scholarship is not allowed to have other paid employment.
