International PhD Positions in Law & Finance, Netherlands Established in 1632, Universiteit van Amsterdam (University of Amsterdam) is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the medium-sized city of Amsterdam (population range of 500,000-1,000,000 inhabitants), North Holland. Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries: Open to all nationalities
  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: The scholarship will be awarded in any subject offered by the University of Amsterdam, particularly focusing on Law & Finance.
  • Admissible Criteria: Applicants must hold a master’s degree in Law or related disciplines (or be in the process of obtaining one), demonstrate scientific research skills or willingness to acquire them, and possess excellent oral and written command of English.

  • Research proposal (max 2000 words)
  • 1 recommendation letter (can be part of the application file or sent separately by the referee to )
