Wageningen University & Research is excited to announce a fully funded PhD scholarship opportunity in the field of social acceptance of fermented foods from waste streams. This scholarship aims to support a highly motivated and curious candidate with a background in social sciences or food-related disciplines.
The primary goal of this project is to valorize food-grade side-streams into new food products through fermentation, thereby contributing to a reduction in food waste and supporting a more sustainable food system. Application Process
Interested candidates should apply directly through the Wageningen University & Research vacancy page by the deadline of June 17, 2024. The application procedure includes two rounds of interviews, with the first round scheduled for June 19-21, 2024. Candidates invited to the second round will need to complete a short assignment.
