Utrecht University’s Faculty of Science invites applications for a International PhD Position in Neuroscience within the Department of Biology. The project focuses on understanding how intrinsic plasticity shapes neuronal behavior using advanced voltage imaging in larval zebrafish. The position is open to candidates with a Master’s degree in Biology or Engineering, an interdisciplinary background, and a strong interest in neuroscience and live imaging.
Applicants must hold or be close to completing a master’s degree in Biology or Engineering, preferably with an interdisciplinary background. Prior experience or strong interest in neuroscience and microscopy is highly valued. Candidates should be enthusiastic about live imaging in zebrafish and possess excellent proficiency in academic English, both spoken and written.
