Wageningen University & Research has initiated a fantastic program named International PhD Position in Global Carbon Cycle and Wildfire Emissions for the academic year of 2024-2025.

This program aims to attract talented  international students commencing full-time PhD positions at the university. The appointed candidate will be offered a salary starting from €2,770 per month in the first year, rising to €3,539 per month in the fourth year, based on a full-time working week of 38 hours.The Wageningen University & Research is a public university in Wageningen, Netherlands, specializing in technical and engineering subjects and is an important center for life sciences and agricultural research. Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries: Open to all nationalities
  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: Any subject offered by Wageningen University & Research
  • Admissible Criteria: Applicants must:
  • Have recently completed a Master’s degree in a related field such as environmental sciences, physics, or computer sciences.
  • Demonstrate intermediate statistical and mathematical skills.
  • Possess a team player attitude and enjoy multidisciplinary science.
  • Have good writing skills and fluency in English language.
  • Be available from September 2024 onwards or sooner.
