Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries: Applications are accepted from candidates of any nationality.

  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: The scholarship will be awarded for a PhD in Artificial Intelligence in relation to one or more of the following subjects within accounting:

    1. Financial Accounting

    2. Management Accounting and Control

    3. Sustainability Accounting and Assurance

    4. Auditing

    5. Corporate Governance

  • Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, applicants must:

    • Hold a master’s degree equivalent to the 3+2 Bologna process.

    • Have completed their master’s degree before the PhD start date (1 September 2025).

    • Attain at least:

      • Grade 10 for the master’s thesis (on Danish 7-point grading scale).

      • A weighted GPA of 8.2 (bachelor’s + master’s) or 9.5 (master’s alone).
        If GPA is lower, documentation showing top 40% class ranking may suffice.

    • Demonstrate high-level proficiency in academic English (written and spoken).

    • Submit a 5-page PhD project proposal linking AI with one or more departmental research areas, including:

      • Original research question

      • Initial theoretical framework and method

      • Proposed empirical material

      • Three-year work plan
