Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Course or Subjects: Students must apply for the PhD study in nanomechanical quantum photonics at the Niels Bohr Institute at the University of Copenhagen.
  • Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following/given criteria:
  • The applicants must have basic knowledge of quantum physics and numerical methods for physics.
  • The applicants must have an interest in doing nanofabrication (previous experience working in cleanrooms is a plus) and experimental work.
  • The applicants must come from a background in optics, solid-state physics or optoelectronics, including experimental skills.

Offered Benefits

The University of Copenhagen is expected to award the appointed candidates a PhD fellow position on full-time basis for up to 3 years with a salary accordingly.
