International merit awards at University of Southern Indiana, USA for Bachelor Founded in 1965, University of Southern Indiana is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the suburban setting of the large town of Evansville (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Indiana. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Higher Learning Commission, University of Southern Indiana (USI) is a large (uniRank enrollment range: 10,000-14,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. University of Southern Indiana (USI) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation degrees), bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. This 54 years old higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations and students' past academic record and grades. The admission rate range is 70-80% making this US higher education organization a somewhat selective institution. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment.

Offered Benefits

The winner of the support will receive $500-$3,000 per year towards any degree programme undertaken at USI for its complete duration.

Application Process

  • How to Apply: Students are required to apply to the programme of their choice through the student portal of the university. The applicants must submit the recommendation letters and an essay along with the admission form to be considered for the opportunity .
  • Supporting Documents: The students are required to present the following documents to the university:
  • Academic transcripts
  • Proof of Graduation
  • Statement of Educational Purpose
  • Identity
  • Admission Requirements: An average GPA of at least 3.25 or higher on a 4.0 scale must be attained by the prospective students to get admission to USI.
  • Language Requirement: The applicants are required to attain minimum scores in the following English language proficiency tests:
  • TOEFL IBT – 71
  • TOEFL PBT –
  • IELTS – 6.0
  • Cambridge English – 169
