The International Master in Industrial Management (IMIM) is a multi-site Master Programme, designed to provide students with primarily scientific or engineering based educational backgrounds with essential business and managerial skills, relevant to pursuing careers in internationally orientated manufacturing and servicing industries. The IMIM Programme is offered by four leading Universities in Europe: Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM), Spain, Politecnico di Milano (POLIMI), Italy, Heriot-Watt University (HWU), United Kingdomand and Technische Universitaet Muenchen (TUM), Germany
The overall aim of the programme is to provide students with a primarily scientific or engineering-based educational background with business skills relevant for pursuing managerial careers in internationally orientated manufacturing and service industries.
The need for such skills is growing rapidly as graduates are increasingly expected to assume broader tasks and responsibilities than most technical universities have traditionally prepared them.
