International MA Scholarships at Maynooth University, Ireland for Master Founded in 1997, Maynooth University is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the medium-sized town of Maynooth (population range of 10,000-49,999 inhabitants), County Kildare. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Department of Education and Skills, Ireland, Maynooth University (NUI Maynooth) is a large (uniRank enrollment range: 10,000-14,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. Maynooth University (NUI Maynooth) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries: Ireland
  • Eligible Course or Subjects: Master degree program in the field of international development
  • Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following criteria:
  • Demonstrated experience of 3 years or more in community development or global development in areas such as social justice, human rights, development education, volunteering or campaigning.
  • Applicants will need to demonstrate, through the provision of official academic transcripts, that they have achieved a 2.1 upper 2nd class honours undergraduate degree (or equivalent).
  • Applications will be accepted from candidates living in Ireland who can satisfy the eligibility criteria for the Master’s program. Graduates from Maynooth University and other universities (both national and international) are welcome to apply, including applicants from the BA graduating class of 2020.

This scholarship is worth €6,850 that will be applied to cover the tuition fee of a full-time master program at the University.

Application Process

  • How to Apply: To be enlisted for this application , firstly you will need to be enrolled in an applicable course at the University. After that, you will be eligible to complete and submit your CV and expression of interest to the Department of International Development as the application of the program.
  • Supporting Documents: Pre-qualification degree, copies of academic transcripts and award, a statement, a copy of passport.
  • Admission Requirements: To be eligible to enrol in a master program at the university, you must have achieved (or will complete in summer 2020) a 2.1 upper 2nd class honours undergraduate degree.
  • Language Requirement: The minimum English requirement of this University for most of the program is IELTS: 6.5 minimum overall score; TOEFL: 95.
