International Graduate School@UGA scholarships in France Founded in 1900, Institut Polytechnique de Grenoble (Grenoble Institute of Technology) is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the suburban setting of the large town of Grenoble (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Auvergne-Rhone-Alpes. This institution has also branch campuses in the following location(s): Valence. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Ministère de l'Enseignement supérieur, de la Recherche et de l'Innovation, France (Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation, France), Institut Polytechnique de Grenoble (Grenoble INP) is a small (uniRank enrollment range: 4,000-4,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. Institut Polytechnique de Grenoble (Grenoble INP) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation degrees), bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries: Open to all nationalities
  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: Any subject offered by UGA
  • Admissible Criteria:
    • Applicants must not hold a French baccalaureate.
    • Must be admitted to M1 or the 4th year of an engineering cycle participating in GS@UGA.
    • Courses taught at a distance are not eligible, except during lockdown.
    • Must be admitted to a GS@UGA thematic program.
    • Should not be benefiting from another scholarship (Crous, French government scholarship, foreign government scholarship, companies, foundation, Erasmus, etc.).
    • Students receiving a scholarship for social security coverage or an exemption from differentiated fees are eligible.
    • The scholarship holder commits to studying in M1 and M2 at UGA and doing their internship in a UGA laboratory.
    • Engineering students commit to carrying out the M2 internship in UGA laboratories.
    • No age or geographical criteria imposed by GS@UGA.

Offered Benefits

Grenoble INP Graduate schools of Engineering and Management will provide an amount of €16,000 over two years. Internship included.

Application Process

  • Choose a thematic program from the provided list.
  • Check if your master/engineering course is concerned by the program of your choice.
  • If eligible, register for the thematic program by clicking on the “Apply” button.
  • Express your interest in the scholarship by sending a letter of motivation when applying to the thematic program.
  • Selection will be made by interview, and applicants will be notified between March and June 2023.
