International Fully Funded EPSRC DTP PhD Scholarships in Positronium Spectroscopy, UK Established in 1920, Swansea University is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the suburban setting of the large town of Swansea (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Wales. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Privy Council, Swansea University is a large (uniRank enrollment range: 15,000-19,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. Swansea University offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation degrees), bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. This 99 years old higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations and students' past academic record and grades. International applicants are eligible to apply for enrollment.

  • Eligible Course or Subjects: PhD degree in Positronium Spectroscopy
  • Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following criteria:
  • Candidates must normally hold an undergraduate degree at 2.1 level or a master’s degree with a minimum overall grade at ‘Merit’ (or Non-UK equivalent as defined by Swansea University).

Offered Benefits

Swansea University covers the full cost of tuition fees and an annual stipend of £16,062. Additional research expenses will also be available.

  • How to Apply: To apply for the programme, applicants must take  admission in the PhD degree programme at Swansea University. After that, candidates can complete your application online for this funding.
  • Supporting Documents: Applicants must upload the following documents
  • Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Monitoring Form(online form)
  • CV
  • Degree certificates and transcripts(if you are currently studying for a degree, screenshots of your grades to date are sufficient)
  • A cover letter including a ‘Supplementary Personal Statement’ to explain why the position particularly matches your skills and experience and how you choose to develop the project.
  • Two references
  • Evidence of meeting English Language requirement (if applicable).
  • Copy of UK resident visa (if applicable)
  • Admission Requirements: Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree certificate with outstanding academic achievement for taking admission.
