International Excellence Student Scholarships at University of Derby, UK Founded in 1992, University of Derby is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the large town of Derby (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), East Midlands. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Privy Council, University of Derby is a large (uniRank enrollment range: 15,000-19,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. University of Derby offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation degrees), bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. This 27 years old higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on students' past academic record and grades. The admission rate range is 80-90% making this UK higher education organization a least selective institution. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries: Only students from Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, China, Hong Kong, India, Pakistan, Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Norway, and Switzerland are eligible.
  • Eligible Course or Subjects: All undergraduate and postgraduate degree courses and subjects offered by Derby are eligible under this application .
  • Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following/given criteria:
  • The students must be enrolled in the University.
  • The students must fulfill geographical requirements.

Offered Benefits

The selected students from the eligible countries will be provided £5,000 towards their undergraduate or postgraduate study at Derby for the course duration.

Application Process

  • How to Apply: The students must apply for their choice of course through the online application portal of the University. To apply for the opportunity , the students must fill the application form.
  • Supporting Documents: The students must submit the following documents:
  • Officially evaluated institutional transcripts
  • Scanned copy of the valid passport
  • Personal statement
  • Two letters of recommendation
  • Admission Requirements: The students should hold relevant academic education with high grades to secure a position at Derby.
  • Language Requirement: The students are required to submit the scores of the following English language proficiency tests:
