International Excellence Scholarships at Swansea University in UK, 2020 Established in 1920, Swansea University is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the suburban setting of the large town of Swansea (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Wales. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Privy Council, Swansea University is a large (uniRank enrollment range: 15,000-19,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. Swansea University offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation degrees), bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. This 99 years old higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations and students' past academic record and grades. International applicants are eligible to apply for enrollment.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries: All nationalities.
  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: BA, BEng, BSc, LLB, MA, MSc, MEng, MSci, and LLM.
  • Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, applicants must have to meet the following eligibility criteria:

  • Must have demonstrated excellence in their academic performance.

Offered Benefits

Successful undergraduate applicants will receive up to £6,000 (£4,000 awarded in Year 1 and £2,000 awarded in Year 2 subject to achieving a 65% average). Postgraduate students will get up to £4,000 at Swansea University in the UK for the session 2020/2021.

Application Process

  • How to Apply: To be considered for the opportunity programme, applicants must take admission in undergraduate and postgraduate degree coursework at Swansea University. Once you are ready to apply please complete an Excellence application Form and return to ido-at-swansea.ac.uk.
  • Supporting Documents: Must submit degree certificates, transcripts of the previous study, and CV with your application.
  • Admission Requirements: For taking admission, students are required to meet the entry requirements of their chosen program.
