International Bursary for HANU Students at the University of Waikato in New Zealand for Bachelor Established in 1964, University of Waikato is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the suburban setting of the large town of Hamilton (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Waikato. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Ministry for Tertiary Education, Skills and Employment, New Zealand, University of Waikato (UoW) is a large (uniRank enrollment range: 10,000-14,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. University of Waikato (UoW) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation degrees), bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries: All nationalities
  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: Undergraduate degree program in Management and Commerce.
  • Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following criteria:
  • Applicants have completed the first 180 points of a pathway program offered by the Faculty of Management and Tourism, HANU. The following HANU programs apply for Bachelor of Business Administration, Bachelor of Finance and Banking, Bachelor of Accounting, or Bachelor of Tourism.
  • Applicants have a HANU GPA of at least 6.5/10.00 (equivalent to a B- (4.50/9.00) from the University of Waikato) from their first 180 points of study at HANU.
  • Applicants have received an offer of a place for the Bachelor of Business from the University of Waikato, The International Bursary for HANU Students.
  • They are commencing full-time study (120 points) in the year of tenure at the University of Waikato, intending to complete a further 60 points the following year, thus allowing for the completion of the degree.
  • They are not coming to the University of Waikato via a sponsoring body.
