Intending to encourage and support the education of students in Australia, Charles Sturt University is offering the Intensive School Equity Grant. The bursary is open for the academic session 2024-2025.

This grant is an initiative to support students who meet equity criteria, ensuring equitable access to education. Intensive School Equity Grant in Australia Established in 1989, Charles Sturt University is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the medium-sized town of Bathurst (population range of 10,000-49,999 inhabitants), New South Wales.   • Eligible Countries: Australia
  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: Any subject offered by the university
  • Admissible Criteria:
    • Enrolled in a compulsory Intensive School
    • Must have received confirmation details of enrollment
    • Must submit the application before the completion date of the intensive school period or within 2 months of completion
    • Must demonstrate financial need (eligible means-tested Centrelink Benefit or financial hardship)
    • Not have received the grant previously within the same session.

Offered Benefits

  • Provides financial assistance to students attending compulsory intensive schools
  • Priority given to students meeting Equity criteria
  • Grant value up to $150 per day for eligible students; $100 one-off Transport Grant for remaining eligible students.

Application Process

Interested candidates are required to submit their applications before the completion date of the intensive school period or within 2 months of completion. Applications should include confirmation details of enrollment and evidence of financial need.
